Our Vets
  Dr. Olivia Chan -

Olivia graduated from Tufts University in Boston, USA as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She was awarded two research scholarships and a community service scholarship during her Doctorate studies. During her studies, Olivia distracted herself with internships at Woodshole Oceanographic Institute, Boston Aquarium and the Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito spending time with fish, snakes, and marine mammals.

Her clinical interests are quite diverse and include geriatric and preventive medicine, oncology, diagnostic imaging, acupuncture, and pharmacognosy of traditional Chinese herbal medicine. She is also curious on rehabilitation of injured or geriatric animals.

She has also had some interesting research experiences with Harvard School of Public Health infectious disease department and Center for Disease Control in Atlanta, USA during the SARS outbreak.

Trying to balance the roles of providing veterinary support for the charitable organization Dr. Pet and being mother of three wonderful boys, on top of all that, she also wishes to pick up her ballet training again, if they ever manage to create a day with 25 hours in it!
